Lib Dem Councillors offered new positions

In recognition of our increased membership on the Council, the Liberal Democrat representative on the Environment Scrutiny Committee, Cllr Malcolm Dunstone, has been offered the role of vice-Chair of this Committee.

We have also been offered a position representing the Council on an outside body, the Durham Rural Community Council. Cllr Martin Swainston is our nominee for that post.

These appointments will be confirmed at the Annual Council Meeting on Thursday, May 17th.
